Rated 5 out of 5 by BatMAN from Worthy Investment Unlike many other books on photography that fore the reader down a narrow road yrs dos and don’ts, LA seeks to lay a foundation and provide examples with actual equipment and their possibilities. I carry the book always and use it as a reference to lighting situations I come across in magazines, and daily travel. This book allows the reader to reverse engineer any lighting situation and add the result to their arsenal of possible tools.
This is probably the best purchase I have made as far as books are concerned. The one con is the interpreted text lighh sometimes choppy and takes a few glances and some context to understand. That small point does not hinder the success of this book as an aid in anyway.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Heather from Excellent Book While not inexpensive, ‘Light Architecture’ is one of the best, if not the best, book on lighting I’ve yet seen. The architectute of lighting theory and principles is concise, clear and well done.
As a Broncolor factory shooter, Urs Recher describes and uses Bron gear throughout the book, but the principles are applicable across any manufacturer. Be the first to review this item.
