In the event of a discrepancy between description in words and figures quoted by a tenderer, the rate which corresponds to the amount worked out by the Contractor shall be taken as correct. When the amount of an item is not worked out by the Contractor or it does not correspond to the rate written either in figures or in words, the rate quoted by the Contractor in words shall be taken as correct.
In the event of error occurring in the amount column of Schedule of Quantities as a result of wrong extension of the unit rate and quantity the unit rate shall be required as firm and extension shall be amended on the basis of the rate.
Rare errors in totaling in the amount column and in carrying forward totals shall be corrected. The totals of various sections of Schedule of Quantities as amended shall be carried over to the General Summary and the tender-sum amended filteype. The tendered sum so altered shall, for the purpose of the tender be substituted for the sum originally tendered and considered for acceptance instead of the original sum quoted by the tenderer.
Any rounding off analyiss in various sections of Schedule of Quantities or in General Summary, by the tenderer, shall be ignored. Tenders, which are not accompanied by EMD filetypd liable to be rejected.
The Security Deposit shall remain at the entire disposal of the Company as a Security for the satisfactory execution and completion of the works, in accordance with the conditions of the Contract.
